Stretch Marks Laser Treatment - Smooth and Revitalize Your Skin
We have good results with Fractional CO-2 laser against stretch marks.
Stretch marks can have several causes, medication use such as cortisone ointments, tablets or injections, weight gain, pregnancy, exercise, and if someone has grown fast. “Scars” are formed in the leather. I describe this as a “break” in the skin, when the skin is stretched. That is, overstretching of elastic fibers in the skin.
I have been treating stretch marks with lasers since the early 80s.
With correct laser treatment, the stretch marks can disappear, in some cases you see approximately 40-50 percent improvement after three to four weeks. For some, you can only see a change 6 to 8 months after the treatment.
For most people, a class 4 laser treatment or a maximum of two treatments six or eight months apart is sufficient. Laser stimulates the cells in the thigh skin to produce new tissue. The treatment is a tempered warm treatment which causes crust formations, a thermal effect.
Furthermore, after class 4 treatments it is required to continue with LLLT-Low-Level-Lasers, especially on the 3rd day after the actual class 4 laser treatment. and continue further until the skin has healed. This prevents pain, it increases the healing process and reduces hyperpigmentation LLLT lasers for skin work mechanically without heat effect
